IT Manager

About the role

Dubizzle Egypt is a leading online marketplace for buying and selling in the region, with 8 brands and more than 160 million monthly users. As IT Manager, you will manage IT operations for Bayut and dubizzle and supervise the implementation and maintenance of the company's local IT infrastructure, working closely with all employees so they can work without IT issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage IT operations for Bayut and dubizzle, including fiscal year planning, Capex/Opex planning, forecasting and expense management.
• Proactively identify performance weaknesses and propose solutions.
• Lead teams in problem management, change management and improvement to reduce incident counts.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to document and support business rules and operating procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues for employees and provide L2 desktop support (Windows/Mac/Linux).
• Set up and configure laptops and desktops, administer wireless access points, VPN and company mobile devices, and keep security and upgrades up to date.
• Provide network support, including routers and access points, and perform support duties as required.
• Mentor the team, track and review performance, enforce company standards and promote team development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of IT experience with a progressive career, including at least 1 year leading a team.
• Experience with enterprise antivirus, Active Directory and GPO, firewalls, switches and routers (preferably Fortinet, Cisco), OS patch management, cloud systems and tools, and network management (Cisco Meraki).
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices, ITSM (preferably ServiceNow), G Suite, endpoint security and a service desk ticketing tool.
• Familiarity with MDM tools such as Maas360 or Desktop Central is a plus.
