IT Program Delivery Manager

About the role

The IT Program Delivery Manager leads end‑to‑end execution of IT programs and projects for DHL Express Egypt, ensuring digital customer‑facing shipping platforms remain highly available, performant, and compliant with evolving customs and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor local IT programs and projects, delivering on scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Manage the customs and regulatory technology portfolio, including integrations such as Nafeza and Advanced Cargo Information Declaration (ACID).
• Provide functional leadership to the Digital Customer Solutions team, overseeing growth, resource planning and knowledge continuity.
• Own operational performance and continuous improvement of customer‑facing tools like MyDHL+, APIs, EDI and breakbulk feeds.
• Act as senior escalation point for technical customer support issues and resolve critical operational problems.
• Partner with Commercial to streamline customer onboarding, training and support for digital shipping applications.
• Drive automation and process improvement across internal IT workflows and external digital touchpoints.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships across Operations, Commercial, Finance, Customs, Gateway and external vendors.
• Represent Egypt IT in regional and global forums, coordinating dependencies and technical standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification preferred; ITIL considered a strong asset.
• 6‑8 years proven experience in IT project/program management, systems solution delivery or technical service management.
• 2‑3 years experience in a formal team leadership or supervisory role.
