IT Security Team Lead

About the role

Geidea is seeking an experienced IT Security Team Lead to head its Network & IT Security Department. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and continuously improving enterprise security controls while managing a high‑performing security team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and allocate tasks for the IT Security team to ensure 99.99% service stability.
• Architect and review security solutions across network, infrastructure, identity, cloud and endpoint layers.
• Own day‑to‑day security operations including IAM/PAM, NAC/TACACS, DLP, NDR/EDR, MDM, email gateway, sandboxing and cloud security (AWS, GCP, AquaSec).
• Drive advanced threat hunting, incident investigation, containment, root‑cause analysis and remediation.
• Manage vulnerability programs, risk assessments and remediation tracking.
• Ensure compliance with SAMA, NCA, NESA, Central Bank and PCI‑DSS standards; coordinate audits.
• Negotiate with vendors, manage security budgets and support strategic planning.
• Develop automation across cybersecurity systems and maintain documentation, playbooks and runbooks.
• Collaborate with IT Operations, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, Finance and Procurement teams.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security or SOC operations.
• Minimum 4 years in a team‑lead or managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of at least six security technologies (IAM/PAM, NAC/TACACS, DLP, NDR/EDR, SIEM, Cloud Security).
