IT Specialist – Network & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

Mediterraneo Trading & Industries Company is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to lead and optimise its IT infrastructure. The role focuses on advanced networking, cloud integration, security, and the delivery of IT projects across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain LAN/WAN solutions, including VLANs, firewalls and VPNs.
• Integrate Azure and AWS services with on‑premises systems for hybrid cloud environments.
• Perform server and network performance tuning, virtualization and system migrations with minimal downtime.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Python to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and coordinate cybersecurity awareness training.
• Lead IT projects from initiation to delivery, managing budgets, timelines and vendor contracts.
• Maintain disaster recovery plans, system audits and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network management.
• Proven ability to lead projects and work with cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP or Fortinet NSE are preferred.
