IT Support Senior Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Senior Specialist to provide fast and effective technical assistance across computer systems, labs, and classrooms. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while delivering high‑quality support to end users.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and applications.
• Serve as the first point of contact for users experiencing hardware, software, or network problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in person, by phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Track incidents to resolution, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines.
• Document all incidents and produce regular reports on support activities and system performance.
• Assist with user training, create manuals, and support change‑of‑location requests.
• Maintain IT software and hardware inventory and coordinate with external vendors.
• Support data centre and communication room requests from internal IT divisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–10 years of comparable IT support experience.
• Very good command of English with strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Ability to learn and work with emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience using remote assistance and PC cloning applications.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals and cabling.
• Ability to manage printers, scanners, and multifunction devices.
• Hands‑on hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT inventory management.
