IT System Administrator Manager

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator Manager to lead its technology infrastructure and SAP environment. The role combines hands‑on technical management with strategic planning for digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage servers, networks, and overall IT infrastructure.
• Secure systems, protect company data, and enforce cybersecurity policies.
• Monitor technical issues, respond to emergencies, and ensure rapid problem resolution.
• Administer backups, disaster‑recovery plans, and verify backup readiness.
• Provide user support across all departments.
• Oversee contracts with IT vendors and suppliers.
• Develop and execute digital transformation and IT development plans.
• Supervise the IT team and coordinate daily operations.
• Operate and manage the SAP S/4HANA environment, including SAP Basis administration, performance monitoring, authorizations, and backups.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Strong background in network management, VPN, and backup solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware ESXi and virtualization technologies.
• Solid expertise in cybersecurity and information security.
• Preferably experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Extensive experience managing SAP S/4HANA and SAP Basis.
