SAP Basis Consultant

About the role

The SAP Basis Consultant will act as the system administrator for SAP environments ranging from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA. You will ensure that all SAP systems run smoothly, are properly maintained, and meet corporate requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and document SAP architecture specifications.
• Install, configure, upgrade, migrate and maintain SAP systems.
• Troubleshoot SAP Basis issues and perform regular performance tuning for both database and SAP layers.
• Manage SAP user IDs, roles, authorizations and resolve security incidents.
• Handle OSS/SAP Service Marketplace queries, notes and message creation.
• Administer SAP databases: space management, backups, restores, security and performance monitoring.
• Maintain system data, license keys, certificates and object registrations.
• Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to capture requirements and address pain points.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis, NetWeaver and ABAP Application Server administration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Proven ability to document processes, procedures and upgrade plans.
