IT Team Leader

About the role

The IT Team Leader will supervise and coordinate daily activities of the IT support and system administration teams in Nasr City. This role is responsible for planning system upgrades, ensuring service continuity, and driving continuous improvement across the IT function.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of IT support and system administration teams.
• Plan and oversee system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, maintenance, updates, and patching.
• Ensure timely resolution of support tickets, incidents, and system issues.
• Monitor performance and availability of servers, networks, cloud services, and critical systems.
• Implement and maintain ITIL‑aligned service management procedures.
• Oversee backups, disaster‑recovery testing, access controls, and security compliance.
• Analyze helpdesk metrics to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
• Assign tasks, schedules, and support coverage to ensure effective service delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure effective delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or related roles.
• 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or team‑lead capacity.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, servers, networking, and cloud solutions.
• Good understanding of IT security, access controls, backup, and disaster‑recovery practices.
