Junior Accounts Payable Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accounts Payable Accountant to support our finance team in managing the full AP cycle across Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The role offers hands‑on experience with ETA e‑invoicing, VAT and WHT reporting, and cross‑border accounting operations under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in archiving purchase invoices for cement factories in KSA.
• Update vendor aging schedules and validate them against the trial balance.
• Support treasury coordination for cement factory payments and transportation accruals.
• Post Masheed invoices by expense type for both KSA and Egypt.
• Prepare, upload, and follow up on sales invoices, VAT reports, and WHT reports on the ETA tax portal.
• Review invoices and payment documents before submission, including petty cash processing.
• Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and allocate advances.
• Assist in basic material cost and revenue analysis and compare transportation and cement costs with trial‑balance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or relevant internship.
• Fluent Arabic and working proficiency in English.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn compliance processes.
• Ability to manage tasks with guidance and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, reconciliations).
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle (a plus).
