Junior Developer – Software Engineering & API Operations

About the role

Next Match AI LLC is looking for a motivated Junior Developer to join its fully remote team based in Egypt. You will work closely with senior architects to build and maintain responsive user interfaces, backend services, and core HR API integrations that support high‑volume data flows across North America and the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, testable code for front‑end and back‑end features and maintain existing modules.
• Assist in documenting and supporting core HR API pathways for third‑party clients.
• Identify, debug, and resolve front‑end layout issues and server‑side script errors.
• Develop and optimise basic SQL/NoSQL queries under senior guidance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, API logs, and deployment workflows.

Required profile

• 1+ years of professional software development experience, internship, or a strong portfolio of full‑stack projects.
• Familiarity with modern front‑end tools (JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Vue) and back‑end environments (Node.js, Python).
• Basic understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Analytical mindset with a desire to learn cloud architectures.
• Clear written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical training.
