Junior Java Developer (Spring Boot, Microservices, Kubernetes)

About the role

Advansys, a solutions provider serving more than 100 enterprise customers across 14 countries, is looking for a Junior Java Developer focused on Spring Boot, microservices and Kubernetes. The role involves helping design, develop and deploy scalable applications in a cloud environment, working with a team of professionals on backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Implement microservices architecture in application development.
• Use Kubernetes for container orchestration, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate services and maintain the application infrastructure.
• Take part in code reviews and troubleshoot issues to improve performance and reliability.
• Help follow best practices in development, deployment and documentation.

Required profile

• 2 years of experience in Java development or a similar technical role.
• Solid understanding of backend technologies such as Java and Spring Boot.
• Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration, particularly Kubernetes.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in backend development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Spring Boot for building scalable Java applications.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for containerized applications.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and Agile methodologies.
