Junior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our Alexandria office. The role involves designing mechanical systems and machines, creating innovative product concepts, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design mechanical components, systems and equipment using CAD tools.
• Develop detailed product designs and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure design feasibility and performance.
• Analyse design specifications and verify compliance with local and international standards.
• Support site coordination and project execution activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related design work.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience in site coordination and project execution.
• Knowledge of HVAC, firefighting and plumbing systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with local and international engineering standards and safety regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Competence with MS Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of Revit or other engineering software (optional).
