Junior Social Media Executive

About the role

Alpha Minds is seeking a Junior Social Media Executive to join its fast‑growing team in Cairo. Working in a hybrid setting, you will support the strategy team across multiple B2B and B2C client accounts and develop the skills needed to become a Social Media Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Research industries, competitors, audiences and emerging trends to inform content strategy.
• Assist in developing campaign ideas and monthly content calendars.
• Write engaging captions for a variety of brands and industries.
• Coordinate with designers and video editors to keep projects on track.
• Schedule and publish posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms.
• Monitor community activity, respond to comments and messages professionally.
• Support performance reporting and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Help keep projects organised, on schedule and delivered to a high standard.

Required profile

• Proactive problem‑solver with strong organisational detail.
• Curious learner who welcomes feedback and takes ownership.
• Reliable and able to manage multiple priorities in a startup environment.
• Interest in marketing strategy beyond simple post creation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Media or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications or content creation.
• Excellent written English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Facebook.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, Google Workspace and Meta Business Suite.
• Comfort with emerging AI tools for content creation.
• Strong copywriting ability in English.
