Karting Track Manager

About the role

The Karting Track Manager oversees daily operations, safety, profitability and guest experience at a high‑energy karting facility. This hands‑on leader balances event coordination, customer service, and technical oversight of the kart workshop to ensure every session runs smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute corporate outings, birthday parties, league races, endurance events and private track rentals, developing a seasonal calendar to maximise revenue.
• Control race operations including timing systems, marshalling, grid coordination and ensure races run on time.
• Deliver hospitality excellence, conduct safety briefings, fit equipment and resolve guest complaints, timing disputes and incident reports.
• Lead the mechanic team to perform daily pre‑session checks, scheduled servicing, mechanical and electrical diagnostics, and ensure all karts pass safety inspections.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tyres, fuel or charging infrastructure and raise purchase orders to minimise downtime.
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise track marshals, mechanics, front‑desk staff and race controllers.

Required profile

• Hands‑on leader with a strong safety focus and ability to work in a fast‑paced motorsport environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, staff and corporate clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in event coordination or facility management preferred.
