Kitchen Steward

About the role

The Kitchen Steward supports the smooth operation of the hotel’s food‑and‑beverage areas by maintaining a clean and safe environment. This full‑time, non‑management position works primarily in the kitchen and related service areas at the Al Fanar Street location in Sharm El Sheikh.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and dining ware.
• Operate dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens between the kitchen, dining areas, and laundry.
• Maintain cleaning tools and report any equipment issues.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and adhere to company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Comfort standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.
• Capability to reach overhead, bend, twist, and stoop as needed.
• No formal education or prior experience required.
• Willingness to follow quality standards and maintain a professional appearance.
