Laundry Attendant

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at Rixos Premium Seagate, a luxury resort on the Red Sea, as a Laundry Attendant. You will ensure that all linen, terry and guest clothing are cleaned, maintained and presented to the highest standards of hygiene and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Protect hotel equipment, tools and machines according to company policies.
• Maintain clean, professional appearance of uniforms and name‑tags.
• Inspect linen and terry for damage and remove defective items from circulation.
• Separate soiled items by colour, fabric and cleaning method before washing or dry‑cleaning.
• Record loads, weight and dry‑cleaning quantities accurately.
• Transport carts of washed items to dryers and load machines according to size.
• Handle chemicals safely, store them according to regulations and support waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Execute quality‑management tasks and any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Primary school or vocational diploma.
• Minimum 1 year experience in hotel laundry or a similar environment.
• Adaptability, flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
• Respectful attitude toward co‑workers and commitment to teamwork.
