Lead Architect

About the role

Hire Pals is partnering with a leading multidisciplinary design consultancy to hire a Lead Architect for its growing building design team in New Cairo, Egypt. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality architectural designs and coordinating BIM models across multiple building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a design group within the architecture team throughout all design stages.
• Act as the primary client contact for design‑related issues and serve as the project’s design coordinator.
• Oversee integrated design delivery from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with client quality procedures.
• Drive BIM integration, develop innovative methodologies, and create design manuals and standard documents.
• Mentor junior staff and promote knowledge sharing across the architectural community.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience as an architect or architectural engineer.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, understand commercial and risk management, and navigate statutory authority requirements.
• Strong presentation skills, fluency in English, and the ability to maintain cordial client relationships.
• Commitment to health, safety, and sustainable design principles.
