Lead Estimator

About the role

Arabtec Construction is seeking a Lead Estimator to join its Cairo team. The role involves preparing and reviewing cost estimates for large‑scale infrastructure and building projects, ensuring competitive and accurate bids.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates and quantity take‑offs for construction projects.
• Prepare and submit competitive bid packages in collaboration with project managers and engineers.
• Analyse project specifications, drawings and schedules to identify cost drivers and potential savings.
• Review and validate material and subcontractor pricing, ensuring alignment with budget targets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve estimation queries and support contract negotiations.
• Maintain and update estimation databases and tools for future reference.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying and bid preparation for large‑scale projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and financial acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with clients and internal teams.
