Learning Design Lead

About the role

The Learning Design Lead will oversee and actively contribute to the design and development of high‑quality learning programs for diverse audiences across in‑class, blended and digital formats. Reporting to the Learning Director, this role blends strategic vision with deep instructional‑design expertise to shape Nawy’s Learning Estate curriculum and drive measurable performance outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of scalable, inclusive, and adaptive learning solutions in collaboration with SMEs, in‑house and freelance instructional designers, and learning‑tech specialists.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive framework and strategy for learning content design that aligns with Nawy’s corporate objectives, culture, and quality standards.
• Ensure all learning programs (instructor‑led, blended, micro‑learning, performance‑support tools) are grounded in proven design theories such as Bloom’s Taxonomy and Kirkpatrick’s Evaluation Model.
• Embed certification mechanisms, knowledge, skills, and behavioral assessments across all interventions.
• Lead learning needs analysis by partnering with department heads and business leaders to identify gaps and align programs with business goals.
• Assist in strategic planning, budgeting, and scheduling of Learning Estate initiatives.
• Monitor and measure learning impact, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading learning‑design projects and managing cross‑functional teams.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into effective learning solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to create high‑impact, learner‑centric content that drives skill acquisition and performance improvement.
