Learning & Performance Manager – Gulf Cluster (Cairo)

About the role

Amgen is seeking a Learning & Performance Manager for its Gulf Cluster, based in Cairo. The role partners with business leaders to align learning initiatives with organizational priorities, driving capability building and employee development across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with functional leaders to identify capability gaps and align learning strategies with business objectives.
• Design and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy for the Gulf Cluster.
• Lead capability‑building initiatives covering leadership, technical and professional skills.
• Ensure alignment with global Learning & Performance priorities and frameworks.
• Develop and deliver training programs using virtual, in‑person and digital methods.
• Monitor program effectiveness through evaluation, feedback and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with HR, commercial, medical and support functions to meet business learning needs.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and local regulatory requirements.
• Utilise learning analytics to measure ROI and inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in Learning & Development or Learning & Performance.
• Current or previous experience within a pharmaceutical multinational.
• Proven ability to lead projects, programs and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
• Strategic mindset with ability to translate business needs into learning solutions.
• Fluent in English; French is a strong plus.
