Life Guard – Egyptians Only

About the role

The Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski is seeking a qualified Lifeguard to ensure the safety and security of guests at its poolside and beach areas. This onsite position requires vigilance, rapid response to emergencies, and strict adherence to hotel safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor designated swimming areas (pool and beach) during business hours and keep them free of unauthorized vessels, windsurfers, and sea‑bikes.
• Provide immediate assistance in emergencies, including CPR, artificial respiration, and first‑aid treatment.
• Set up and maintain life‑saving equipment, rescue flags, rescue surfboards/boats, and first‑aid kits.
• Log and supervise water‑sports activities, ensuring they occur only in approved zones.
• Report and rectify any safety hazards promptly and follow all hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health, and safety.

Required profile

• Eligible to work in Egypt.
• Minimum 1‑2 years experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a 5‑star international hotel.
• Strong swimming ability and solid knowledge of health‑club and pool operations.

Required skills

• Certified Lifeguard (any recognized world Lifeguard Association).
• CPR and artificial respiration (mouth‑to‑mouth) certification.
• First‑aid competency.
• Proficiency in operating rescue equipment and monitoring water‑sports activities.
