Localization Vendor Coordinator Intern

About the role

As a Localization Vendor Coordinator Intern you will assist the Vendor Management team in recruiting, onboarding and supporting freelance linguists and language service providers. The role offers practical exposure to the localization industry and the chance to develop recruitment, communication and operational skills.

Key responsibilities

• Source, screen and recruit freelance linguists and external vendors across various languages and specializations.
• Support the expansion and maintenance of multilingual vendor databases.
• Coordinate with Project Management on resource requests and vendor availability.
• Assist in assessing vendor qualifications through test translations and documentation collection.
• Maintain accurate vendor records, profiles, and contracts in internal systems.
• Help with vendor onboarding and ensure completion of required documents.
• Support contract preparation and follow‑up on renewals.
• Work with Finance to track vendor payments and related documentation.
• Build and maintain positive vendor relationships through timely communication.
• Conduct market research to identify new language professionals and industry trends.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Vendor Management team as needed.

Required profile

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, Linguistics, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Proactive, eager to learn and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
