Logistics Manager – Group Distribution Strategy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to develop and implement the Group's logistics and distribution strategy. The role ensures efficient, cost‑effective, and timely delivery of products from factories to all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and oversee transportation and distribution operations, optimizing fleet utilization and route planning.
• Maintain cold‑chain integrity and compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, and food‑safety standards.
• Monitor logistics KPIs such as On‑Time Delivery, OTIF, fleet utilization, and transportation costs, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Develop and manage the logistics budget, controlling costs and identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Lead, coach and develop the logistics team, including supervisors, coordinators, fleet controllers and drivers.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring smooth movement of raw materials, packaging, finished goods and equipment.
• Establish contingency plans for vehicle breakdowns, supply shortages, traffic incidents and seasonal demand spikes.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, occupational health and safety, environmental and food‑safety requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through digital logistics solutions, TMS, route‑optimization technologies and data‑driven decision making.
• Build and maintain relationships with third‑party logistics providers, transport contractors, vehicle suppliers and authorities.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of logistics or supply‑chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food‑production environment.
• Proven track record in managing large fleets and complex distribution networks.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret KPI data and implement improvements.
• Excellent leadership and team‑development skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of cold‑chain logistics, HACCP and ISO 22000 standards.
