Logistics Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Operations Coordinator will support the daily transportation activities of a leading logistics provider operating in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Based at the Sheraton in Cairo, you will be responsible for tracking trucks, following up with drivers, ensuring timely and efficient execution of shipments, and providing data‑driven insights that help improve overall operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track the real‑time movement of trucks across routes.
• Communicate with drivers to confirm schedules, address delays, and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee timely loading and unloading of goods at ports and customer sites.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare and submit regular operational reports for management review.
• Provide actionable insights that support effective decision‑making.
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards during transportation activities.
• Assist in scheduling and dispatch planning to optimize fleet utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply‑chain management or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in logistics, trucking, heavy‑truck or fleet operations.
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
