Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to oversee import and export operations, coordinate customs clearance, and ensure timely delivery of shipments while maintaining compliance with regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments from purchase order through final delivery.
• Work with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage all customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with Egyptian customs regulations.
• Prepare, review, and follow up on shipping and customs documentation such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Air Waybill, Certificate of Origin, and other required import documents.
• Track shipments, resolve clearance or documentation issues, and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse teams to guarantee timely receipt of imported materials and proper documentation.
• Monitor shipment pricing, customs duties, freight charges, and related costs to ensure cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain operations.
• Hands‑on experience with customs clearance procedures and import documentation.
• Good knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations and shipping documentation.
• Familiarity with Incoterms, freight forwarding, and shipment pricing is preferred.
