Loss Prevention Supervisor

About the role

The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for safeguarding the property, its guests, and employees by monitoring security systems, conducting inspections, and responding to emergencies. This role combines proactive patrol duties with incident management and guest service support.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms and monitor access to restricted zones.
• Conduct emergency response drills, daily safety inspections, investigations and key‑control audits.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured areas.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS when needed.
• Gather information, complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality of all documents.
• Defuse disturbances, resolve safety hazards, handle complaints and escort unwelcome persons.
• Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and follow all company policies.
• Support management in training, coaching and motivating staff while upholding the Guarantee of Fair Treatment policy.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect company assets and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• Ability to work physically demanding shifts, including standing, walking and lifting up to 50 lb unaided.
• Strong communication skills with guests, employees and emergency services.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Capability to remain calm and decisive during emergencies and disturbances.
• Willingness to follow safety training, certifications and company procedures.
