Maintenance Engineer – Architecture & Civil

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer who will ensure the safety and comfort of our guests by leading the maintenance team in a hotel environment. You will be responsible for keeping the property in top condition, overseeing preventative programmes and supporting renovation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance tasks, assigning the right team to each job.
• Implement and monitor a preventative maintenance programme to create a safe, secure, and comfortable guest environment.
• Assist in preparing the departmental budget and tightly control expenses.
• Lead hotel renovation projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely, on‑budget completion.
• Maintain strong working relationships with external contractors and service providers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in general building maintenance and construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional certification and licence relevant to the field.
• Hotel experience is preferred.
