Maintenance Manager – Industrial Manufacturing

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead the maintenance function for an industrial manufacturing site, ensuring safety, reliability and continuous improvement of all equipment. This senior position reports to senior plant leadership and works closely with engineering, quality and HSE teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with 5S, OHS and internal audit findings.
• Develop technical capabilities of the maintenance team through coaching and problem‑solving support.
• Supervise preventive, corrective, project‑related and installation maintenance activities.
• Review monthly breakdown analyses and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and maintain preventive electrical maintenance plans and predictive‑maintenance programs.
• Monitor power consumption, investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain secure backups of machine control and operating programs.
• Define strategic spare‑parts inventories, manage purchase requisitions and stock levels.
• Conduct risk assessments, internal audits and ensure alignment with Quality and ISO standards.
• Develop shutdown maintenance plans and oversee their execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical or mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Proven leadership, strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English (very good to excellent).
