Manual Test Engineer – Automotive (Mid‑Level)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Manual Test Engineer to join our automotive software testing team. You will validate vehicle software solutions on test benches and real cars, ensuring quality, reliability and performance through structured testing and close collaboration with development and integration teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform software updates on test vehicles and benches and execute test plans according to project priorities.
• Run daily and evening testing cycles, including static and dynamic vehicle tests and occasional weekend drives.
• Record diagnostic traces, analyse logs and create accurate defect reports in internal and customer systems.
• Design, maintain and execute test cases, test suites and test plans for automotive software builds.
• Provide timely feedback to engineering teams and keep stakeholders informed of testing progress and issues.
• Collaborate with vehicle manufacturers, infotainment (IVI) teams, developers and project leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of software testing or QA experience, including at least 3 years in automotive software testing.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work shifted schedules (starting after 14:00) and occasional weekend testing.
