Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The Marketing Coordinator will support the Director/Assistant of Marketing and Communication in shaping and executing strategic marketing plans for the Semiramis InterContinental Cairo. This role blends hospitality insight with marketing execution to drive brand visibility and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing strategic marketing plans, budgets, and campaigns.
• Collaborate with sales, F&B, rooms, and regional offices to identify marketing opportunities.
• Drive revenue for rooms and food & beverage through media outreach, content creation, and campaign development.
• Deploy IHG brand and hotel‑level campaigns across print, social, and digital channels.
• Maintain the hotel’s marketing database, photographic and video library, and oversee content updates.
• Manage e‑mail and SMS marketing tools in partnership with IT.
• Produce monthly communication tools such as newsletters and handle responsible‑business and charity event communications.
• Liaise with printers, media, and partners to ensure brand compliance and timely delivery of materials.

Required profile

• Strong sense of hospitality and guest‑centric mindset.
• Previous experience in hotel operational departments.
• Proven administrative track record with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle guest complaints professionally and with a smile.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
