MEA Network Planning Lead

About the role

Mars is looking for a Network Planning Lead in Cairo to ensure its products are available in the right place, at the right time and in the right quantity. In the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, the role acts as the conductor of the supply chain, synchronising production schedules with sales requirements to deliver strong service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Convert demand forecasts into robust supply plans and coordinate with MEA factories so that stock covers all non-MEA markets
• Lead the Step 3 (Supply Review) of the Mars S&OP+ process, flagging supply gaps, labour constraints or material shortages and proposing solutions
• Balance service levels (case fill rate) against inventory costs and write-offs caused by expiry
• Work with site planners to optimise production runs and prepare the network for seasonal peaks such as Ramadan and Diwali
• Drive efficiency by reducing lead times and improving supply chain agility
• Act as the main link between Demand Planning, Sales and Logistics to resolve supply-demand imbalances
• Give affiliates end-to-end pipeline visibility, including shipment ETAs, vessel tracking and early alerts on out-of-stock risks
• Ensure all affiliates follow the global S&OP+ calendar and coach local planners on accurate 24-month demand signals
• Manage the supply side of new product launches and product phase-outs with Marketing and Sales
• Hold regular check-ins with affiliate supply teams to track case fill rate and inventory health and drive corrective actions

The role works closely with dispatch planners, logistics and clearance, commercial buyers, ATLAS inbound FE, activity coordinators, third-party warehouse managers, production teams, quality and finance teams.
