MEA Productivity Associate Manager

About the role

Kraft Heinz is hiring a Productivity Associate Manager in Cairo to lead and deliver value engineering and security of supply projects for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. The role leads the MEA VE/SoS programs, manages cross-functional teams and acts as the key contact for project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver value engineering and security of supply projects on time and in full, following gatekeeper principles and presenting projects in gate decision meetings
• Manage cross-functional teams through team meetings and stakeholder engagement
• Create and manage timelines, actions and business cases, develop and manage the risk plan, and handle issue solving and escalations
• Manage projects in the Project Now system and maintain data quality; review and update data on Hive and ensure system accuracy
• Monitor the VE budget, review and report VE spend, and prepare and present the project charter to the CLT during the PMR to gain approval for project gates
• Connect with SCD to review factory capacity and identify constraints, and prepare presentations for PMR, operations committees, VE monthly updates, X-zone monthly connects and procurement updates
• Work with global teams to scope initiatives and cascade them internally, and lead the VE transformation agenda
• Act as focal point for Procurement Innovation Projects, tracking requirements until closed with the procurement team
• Establish VE/ESG BU governance with cross-functional teams (rituals, routines, yearly calendar) and work with the RGM function on business cases, savings scope and materialization of ideas

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or Industrial Engineering
• 5 years of experience in FMCG, specifically in value engineering
• Proficiency in English
• Understanding of basic food production principles and product development concepts, including key product characteristics, analytical methods and organoleptic attributes
