Mechanical BIM Engineer (Revit MEP)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical BIM Engineer to develop, update and maintain mechanical BIM models using Revit MEP for projects based in New Cairo. The role involves creating detailed shop drawings, coordinating with other disciplines and ensuring that all deliverables meet project standards and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mechanical BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and other systems.
• Prepare detailed mechanical shop drawings and design documentation.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural and electrical disciplines.
• Identify and resolve clashes using BIM coordination tools.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications and project requirements for accurate BIM implementation.
• Assist in preparing BIM reports, coordination drawings and technical documentation.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings and technical discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in Mechanical BIM and MEP projects.
• Strong proficiency in Revit MEP and mechanical BIM modeling.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire‑fighting systems.
• Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
