Mechanical Engineer – Engineering Services

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the creation and refinement of mechanical concepts for new products and enhancements. The role combines hands‑on prototyping, detailed design, and cross‑functional collaboration to bring ideas from concept to full production.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and develop mechanical concepts, producing detailed designs for new products and upgrades.
• Create and maintain complex 3D models in SolidWorks; use them for prototyping and validation.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to ensure cost‑effective, reliable production.
• Perform tolerance stack‑up analysis, GD&T, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS.
• Produce complete design documentation: 2D drawings, Engineering Change Orders, Bills of Materials, and specifications.
• Manufacture and assemble components, utilizing hand tools and shop equipment.
• Collaborate with software, systems, manufacturing, testing, and other teams to transition designs to production.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• SolidWorks (3D CAD modeling and simulation).
• CATIA V5 (bonus).
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS.
• 2D drawing creation and interpretation.
• Hands‑on component manufacturing, assembly, and use of hand tools.
• Knowledge of machining, sheet‑metal fabrication, and additive manufacturing (FDM, SLA).
