Mechanical PL & FF Design Team Lead

About the role

As a Team Lead Mechanical Engineer reporting to the MEP Delivery Manager, you will work from Studio 360’s design studio in Egypt, shaping complex MEP systems for high‑end luxury residential and hospitality projects. The role demands strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a hands‑on approach to delivering design excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of complete mechanical systems for residential and hospitality projects, from concept design documents to detailed execution.
• Calculate building cooling loads using authority‑approved software.
• Manage CAD and BIM specialists, providing technical guidance to ensure designs meet Azizi standards.
• Coordinate with Submittal Engineers to verify that all submitted documents comply with relevant authority requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all mechanical documentation submitted.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 11–15 years of mechanical design experience with reputable PMCs in the Middle East.
• Portfolio that includes high‑rise, luxury residential, hospitality, or mixed‑use projects in the UAE.
• Familiarity with Dubai authorities such as DEWA and Trakhees.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Elite, and the MS Office suite.
• Experience using authority‑approved software for cooling load calculations.
