Mechanical Site Engineer

About the role

The company is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate all mechanical MEP works on a construction project in Tanta, Gharbia. The role involves ensuring installations follow approved drawings, specifications, schedule and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate HVAC, firefighting and plumbing systems on site.
• Review and implement shop drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Inspect materials and installations for compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare material requirements, quantity take‑offs and BOQ activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and the project management team.
• Monitor progress, report daily/weekly updates and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, inspection, snagging and handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical construction/MEP projects.
• Experience with HVAC, firefighting and plumbing systems.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of shop drawings, BOQ, specifications and installation methods.
• Strong site supervision and coordination skills.
