Mechanical Supervisor – Food Industries Manufacturing

About the role

The Mechanical Supervisor will lead the mechanical maintenance function for production lines, utilities and related equipment at Aromanza Food Solutions' Cairo facility. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that all machinery operates safely, efficiently and in compliance with food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Assign work orders to maintenance technicians and monitor timely completion.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections, identify potential failures and coordinate corrective actions.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory and usage reporting.
• Support root‑cause analysis of recurring mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and regulatory standards (HACCP, GMP).
• Collaborate with production and quality teams on continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory experience with team leadership, task allocation and on‑the‑job coaching.
• Proven background in preventive maintenance planning and execution within a food‑manufacturing environment.
• Experience in maintenance management, work‑order control, documentation and reporting.
• Hands‑on expertise in equipment inspection, fault identification and corrective action implementation.
• Knowledge of food‑industry hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP, GMP).
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
