Mechanical Systems Technical Execution Senior Engineer II

About the role

As a Mechanical Systems Technical Execution Senior Engineer II at Schneider Electric, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of mechanical solutions for data‑center facilities. You will ensure high availability, energy efficiency, and scalability of critical cooling infrastructure while managing complex customer projects from initiation to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, and advanced cooling systems for data‑center projects.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for mechanical systems in mission‑critical environments, reviewing and approving engineering calculations and specifications.
• Develop and optimize cooling strategies such as CRAC/CRAH, liquid cooling, free cooling, and containment systems.
• Perform load calculations, airflow analysis, and thermal modeling to meet Tier uptime requirements.
• Support the full project lifecycle, including tender design, vendor submittal review, construction support, testing, and commissioning.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans while ensuring alignment with customer requirements and bill of materials.

Required profile

• Senior‑level mechanical engineering professional with proven experience in data‑center or industrial cooling projects.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholders, and communicate technical information clearly.
• Demonstrated experience in project execution, risk management, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
