Mechanical Technician

About the role

Siemens Energy is looking for a Mechanical Technician to lead turbine module disassembly and assembly activities on‑site in Egypt. You will coordinate work packages, assign tasks to technicians and ensure all work meets safety, quality and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute turbine module disassembly and assembly on‑site.
• Coordinate work packages and assign tasks to technical staff.
• Perform critical measurements, inspections and interpret engineering drawings.
• Provide technical support for maintenance activities and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Investigate equipment failures, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in safety meetings, plant inspections and EHS compliance activities.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with gas turbines, rotating equipment or power‑generation assets.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in an industrial setting.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail during plant outages and maintenance.
