Mechanical Tendering Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Tendering Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and managing tenders for mechanical projects. You will support the bidding process, ensure technical compliance, and collaborate closely with procurement and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop tender documents for mechanical projects.
• Provide accurate cost estimations and support pre‑qualification bids.
• Collect market prices, evaluate new suppliers, and align with procurement strategies.
• Review technical specifications, BOQ, and drawings to select suitable vendors.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and manage RFQs.
• Analyze subcontractor offers and ensure product compliance with client requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar tendering or cost‑estimation role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
• Construction background with analytical and planning abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Very good command of English.
