Medical Representative - Respiratory Portfolio

About the role

GSK is hiring a Medical Representative to drive sales strategy for its Respiratory Portfolio across specific accounts and territories in Egypt. The role implements the commercial team strategy for Pulmonologists, Internal Medicine and Allergologists, working with external and internal stakeholders and delivering promotional campaigns and activities in line with GSK's purpose and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for the assigned territories and accounts within the agreed budget and timeline.
• Build a deep understanding of the disease area and GSK specialty portfolio, and generate insights, opportunities, risks and needs for each account.
• Develop and execute the territory business plan, including customer-facing activities, and map the HCP and customer journey to identify gaps in the patient care pathway.
• Work with market access teams to maximise payer value, ensure product availability and coordinate demand and supply planning.
• Collect customer insights, analyse secondary and primary data, develop new tactics including omnichannel approaches, and maintain accurate customer segmentation.
• Stay up to date on competitors, pricing, regulations and other market developments, complete reports on time, and comply with local regulations, company policies and SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (Pharmaceutical Science, Medicine, Veterinary, Dentistry or Science).
• 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with proven Key Account Management experience.
• Mandatory experience in the Pulmonology or Allergy therapeutic area; new launch experience preferred.
• Residency in Cairo, Giza, Assiut, Mansoura or Alexandria.
• Fluent Arabic and a good command of English.
