Mid-Level Accountant – New Cairo

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in New Cairo. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, supporting month‑end closures and ensuring compliance with Egyptian tax and payroll regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, record and process daily journal entries and financial transactions.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable for vendors and clients.
• Assist in preparing monthly closures, financial reports and project invoices.
• Ensure compliance with statutory tax regulations and official payroll deductions.
• Provide accurate data analysis to support financial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting major) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on accounting experience; experience in contracting, commercial or technical sectors is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting/ERP software.
