Mobile Equipment Maintenance Lead

About the role

Holcim US is seeking a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Lead to oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance of quarry mobile equipment at the Sokhna plant. The role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership, safety enforcement, and cost management.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Lafarge safety rules, wear proper PPE, and integrate safety into all maintenance activities.
• Supervise and perform electrical and mechanical repairs of mobile equipment in line with company policies and manufacturer standards.
• Provide technical assistance for complex issues and investigate root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Inspect work areas, test tools, and maintain safe housekeeping conditions.
• Conduct SWI and risk assessments with the maintenance team.
• Track equipment costs, record expenditures, and report annual maintenance spend.
• Review, coordinate, and approve work performed by external subcontractors.
• Collaborate with other departments on preventive‑maintenance outcomes and technical complaints.
• Evaluate parts from suppliers and recommend accepted offers.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5‑8 years of experience maintaining Caterpillar mining equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and root‑cause analysis.
