Mobile IN/VAS Performance & Optimization Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile IN/VAS Performance & Optimization Engineer to ensure the optimal performance, availability, and efficiency of our Intelligent Network (IN) and Value‑Added Services (VAS) platforms. You will monitor service health, analyze key performance indicators, and drive continuous improvement across prepaid, charging, messaging, and other value‑added services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor performance, availability, and health of Mobile VAS platforms to meet SLA commitments.
• Analyze network and service KPIs, identify degradation, and propose optimization actions.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for performance issues and implement corrective measures.
• Optimize system configurations, platform parameters, and resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage, database, network).
• Conduct capacity analysis, traffic trend evaluation, and growth forecasting for network dimensioning.
• Validate platform performance after software upgrades, patches, and new service deployments.
• Configure and maintain performance thresholds, statistical alarms, and automated alerting mechanisms.
• Develop dashboards, automate KPI reporting, and create scripting solutions for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Prepare regular performance, SLA, and executive summary reports with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT, Planning, and Vendor teams to resolve issues and support special‑event traffic spikes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Mobile VAS or telecom service platforms.
• Strong understanding of VAS architecture and service workflows.
