MRP Controller

About the role

Arcera, a global life sciences company developing, manufacturing and commercializing medicines, is hiring an MRP Controller for its site in Al Obour City, Egypt. The role ensures uninterrupted material availability for production and business needs through material requirements planning, inventory control and supply analysis, coordinating with Procurement, Production, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial and Supply Chain teams. It reports to the Material Planning & Inventory Control Section Head.

Key responsibilities

• Run MRP activities to secure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials and critical supplies, and monitor inventory levels, safety stock, reorder points and coverage.
• Analyse inventory performance and recommend actions to optimise stock while keeping service levels, and prepare material availability, inventory and stock coverage reports.
• Coordinate with Procurement on timely ordering and replenishment.
• Support production planning through materials readiness reviews and supply feasibility analysis, and prepare monthly required-material reports.
• Monitor production plan execution and identify material constraints, and support toll manufacturing and outsourced production material readiness.
• Monitor incoming raw and packaging materials under quality inspection, follow up daily with Quality teams and coordinate urgent releases to avoid production delays.
• Prepare EDA reports and daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc planning reports.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, supply chain and regulatory requirements, and keep accurate planning and inventory records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, pharmacy, business administration or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in material planning, production planning, supply planning, inventory management or supply chain operations.

Required skills

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred).
