Native Mobile Engineer – iOS, Android & Huawei

About the role

Arcsen is seeking a senior native mobile engineer to design and deliver iOS, Android and Huawei mobile applications that mirror the functionality of its web platform and loyalty experience. The role involves building high‑performance, feature‑rich apps that integrate with existing APIs and support a global user base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop native iOS apps in Swift (latest two OS versions) and Android apps in Kotlin (latest three OS versions), including Huawei AppGallery distribution and HMS push.
• Implement core journeys such as search, booking/commerce, self‑service flows, mobile passes for Apple Wallet/Google Wallet, document scanning, upload and calendar sync.
• Deliver member/loyalty profile features at parity with the website.
• Integrate push notifications (APNs, FCM, HMS), in‑app notifications, geolocation, and offline access to static content.
• Consume REST and GraphQL APIs via the integration layer and embed mobile analytics.
• Meet performance targets: app startup under 2 seconds, optimized size, and low crash rate.
• Manage store distribution for Apple App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery, including localized metadata and screenshots.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of native mobile development experience.
• Senior‑level expertise in Swift (iOS) **or** Kotlin (Android); the Android hire should also cover Huawei HMS.
• Strong experience with REST/GraphQL API integration and push‑notification infrastructure.
• Proven track record publishing and maintaining apps in production stores.
