Non-Motor Claims Assessor – Insurance

About the role

We are looking for a Non‑Motor Claims Assessor to join our insurance team in Egypt. The role involves handling non‑motor insurance claims from registration through settlement, ensuring accurate assessment and compliance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and register claims, create physical files and verify coverage against policy terms.
• Evaluate loss size, calculate settlement amounts and ensure fairness in assessments.
• Appoint surveyors, prepare reports, set reserves and follow claims procedures.
• Manage correspondence and negotiations with clients, reinsurers and legal entities, including salvage and recovery.
• Assist in preparing statistics, monthly KPIs and closing bordereaux while adhering to technical standards.

Required profile

• University degree with 1–3 years of experience in insurance operations.
• Solid understanding of insurance products and reinsurance.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and collaborate within a team.
