Obstetrics & Gynecology Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Obstetrics & Gynecology Consultant to join our team at Andalusia Health Egypt in El Maadi El Gadida. The consultant will deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across the antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and surgical spectrum, ensuring patient safety and high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Run outpatient obstetrics and gynecology clinics and provide patient counseling.
• Manage labour, deliveries and cesarean sections, including high‑risk cases.
• Perform gynecologic surgeries and procedures in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Oversee inpatient care, interpret diagnostic tests and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and participate in clinical audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBCh or equivalent) with completed residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid Egyptian medical licence and relevant board certification or fellowship.
• Proven experience with normal and high‑risk pregnancies, labour, delivery and postpartum care.
• Demonstrated competence in gynecologic surgery, including cesarean sections.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
