Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nurse to support employee well‑being at our Cairo Business Office and 6th of October Plant in Egypt. The role combines preventive, curative and promotive health care to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Health Physician with pre‑employment and periodic medical examinations.
• Conduct occupational health tests such as audiometry, lung function, spirometry, skin prick and vision testing, and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver health awareness training, first‑aid, basic life support (AED), industrial hygiene and safe‑food handling sessions.
• Coordinate vaccination programmes, health diagnostic campaigns and ergonomic assessments.
• Perform monthly workplace inspections, equipment checks and support emergency medical plans.
• Review and manage sickness‑absence cases, liaise with managers and refer employees as needed.
• Track health surveillance for employees exposed to specific hazards and ensure respirator medical clearance.
• Provide medical advice for business travel and support post‑exposure prophylaxis procedures.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid license and experience in occupational health.
• Compassionate, detail‑oriented and able to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills for training and employee interaction.
