Odoo Project Manager – ERP Implementation Lead

About the role

Pharos University in Alexandria is looking for an experienced Odoo Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end implementation of the Odoo ERP system across key university departments. You will coordinate between business users, technical teams, and senior management to ensure a smooth rollout and adoption of the solution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor the full Odoo ERP implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering to Go‑Live and post‑implementation support.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Accounting, Finance, Inventory, and other departments to define processes, data migration, and integration points.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, deliverables, and milestones, providing regular status reports to senior management.
• Oversee configuration of Odoo modules (Accounting, Purchase, Inventory, Finance) and ensure proper user access, roles, and approval workflows.
• Lead data preparation, validation, migration, and reconciliation to guarantee data integrity.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identify gaps, and resolve issues before Go‑Live.
• Organise and deliver user training, ensuring departments are ready for system adoption.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate resolution of technical and functional issues after deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7–10 years of experience as a Project Manager, with proven Odoo ERP implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of business processes in Procurement, Accounting, Finance, and Inventory.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in large or multi‑department organizations, preferably in the education sector.
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus.
